Paso Desolación

The trek starts in Petrohue, the getaway to Argentina or a little cruise on the lake. The first kilometers are flat while you can enjoy beautiful views of the lago Todo los Santos and of course - the famous Volcan Osorno. After approximately 4km the incline starts towards the paso desolación. Back in the days this route was used to cross the Andes towards Argentina. The full route is 12km one way but you can also turn around earlier. The first viewpoint is approximately after 5km but we recommend to do the full trek.
